CANVEY ISLAND SEA DEFENCE PROJECT

In 2023, we began work on a significant infrastructure project at Canvey Island, aimed at reinforcing the sea wall and constructing a new defence barrier. This was a heavy civils project that demanded a highly skilled and safety-conscious workforce.

To ensure successful delivery of this intricate, specialist project, we provided a comprehensive range of qualified operatives. These included general labourers certified with CSCS, traffic marshals and plant operators holding CPCS credentials, and experienced machine drivers for dumpers and 360 excavators. We also supplied NVQ Level 2-certified groundworkers, shuttering carpenters, and steel fixers, along with professional setting out engineers.

We meticulously vetted each operative, selecting them based on their qualifications, experience and ability to meet the high standards required for this challenging coastal environment.

This project showcases our ability to deliver skilled labour for specialist civil engineering works and reinforces our commitment to supporting critical infrastructure across the UK.
